The Corporate Challenge is a pretty cool concept.
It started thirty two years ago, when city employees had an idea. They started on a smaller scale, providing nine events to compete in for participants from companies around the valley.
In 2005 Zappos took over and now Corporate Challenge is the largest amateur sporting event in Nevada. The city along with other sponsors bring the games to 18,000 employees from more than 125 companies around Las Vegas. As many AH4R employees, representatives, and tenants live in the Las Vegas area we decided to participate for our second consecutive year. The Corporate Challenge organizers are dedicated to bringing fun competition that builds morale for AH4R and the community we are apart of.
The event spans 3 months and includes events such as basketball, volleyball, track & field, and even events like laser tag and dodgeball. Points are awarded to the medaling teams in each event.
American Homes 4 Rent won Outdoor Volleyball and Cornhole as well as placed in Bowling, and Indoor Volleyball.
